First of all , I am sorry for writing a English on this board. I can't speak chinese language. But I can read chinese by a help of language translator software.^^
A few days ago, I succeed to install a 12.1" sxga+ lcd on thinkpad x60.( Of course, I can install 12.1" sxga+(1400x1050) on thinkpad x61). For this modification,
I have studied phoenix bios and disassembler. I spent a lot of time to do a modification of bios codes.
To install a 12.1" sxga+ on x60/x61, you should two modification. One is a modification of x60/x61's lcd cable, another is a x60/x61's modification. It is very easy to
modify lcd cable but it is a little difficult to modify bios code. ( If you do a inproper modification of bios code, your computer will not be booted on and will be screwed up. As you know or not , the X60/X61 BIOS is permanently set at XGA, even if a higher res panel is installed. You should modify bios image code to get a higher resolution.
